Psychiatry.01 Obtain a complete mental health history including appropriate collateral information.
Psychiatry.02 Perform a complete mental status examination.
Psychiatry.03 Formulate an appropriate behavioral health assessment.
Psychiatry.04 Educate and empower patients and their caregivers regarding possible treatment choices.
Psychiatry.05 Develop and manage appropriate behavioral health treatment plans.
Psychiatry.06 Applies foundational knowledge for clinical problem-solving, diagnostic reasoning, and decision-making.
Psychiatry.07 Produce accurate, complete, and organized write-ups.
Psychiatry.08 Deliver accurate, complete, and organized oral case presentations.
Psychiatry.09 Demonstrate sensitivity and compassion when discussing mental health issues with patients and their caregivers.
Psychiatry.10 Manage countertransference and recognize how it impacts clinical care.
Psychiatry.11 Identify gaps in knowledge and incorporate feedback improving daily practice.
Psychiatry.12 Use knowledge of one’s own role and the roles of other health professionals to appropriately assess and address the behavioral health care needs of patients.

Policy Statement
All students must pass and complete the academic course and credit requirements as approved for their entering class in order to graduate.
